        Pack 320 will be setting up the Pinewood Derby track at the Church after the Pack Committee Meeting. Your assistance would be appreciated!      
               
             
        · Pack 320 Pinewood Derby Trial Runs

        Pack 320 will have the scouts doing their trial runs today on the Pinewood Derby track at the Church. This will allow them to see how well their derby car is working and allow last minute changes! Lots of fun!

        · Pack 320 Annual Pinewood Derby

        Pack 320 is holding its annual Pinewood Derby!! The vehicles were carved by the boys, with the guidance of their parents or other family members. Pinewood Derby kits with building instructions are available at the Scout Shop. All scouts entering the derby races receive one free one from the Pack. Those will be distributed sometime in January and February.      
               
        Come join the fun as the cars race for this annual pack event. The Pinewood Derby gives Scouts a great opportunity to show off their creativity, design, building and decorating skills to complete this project and compete in this race.      
               
       
DETAILED INFORMATION FOLLOWS:
     
               
        All participants must have their cars registered and weighed by a race official at least 1/2-hour before their race begins.      
        All races will begin as close as possible to the times on this schedule.      
        Snacks and lunches can be purchased at a minimal cost in the large meeting room off of the back hall.      
       
NO FOOD OR DRINKS WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE CARPETED AREAS.

        at Great Bridge Presbyterian Church, 333 Cedar Rd, Chesapeake, VA      
       
     
        Interested Adults invited. If you are a registered adult, wear your uniform. If not & you have a Pack t-shirt - wear that. Roundtable is where all registered adults gather to discuss upcoming District events, share Scouting ideas, obtain information on what's going on in the District - it's very enlightening. These meetings are held on the 2nd Thurs. of every month - same time/same place.

        PLEASE NOTE: This meeting affects the entire Pack and its activities. PLEASE take the time to attend and participate. Your input is ALWAYS important!      
               
             
        · Pack 320 Cake Bake & Movie Night      
             
       

03/25/06 (Saturday) @ 6 pm (Time to be Confirmed)

      
        at Messiah United Methodist Church      
               
       
Father/Son Cake Bake
      
               
        Each participant will receive recognition for their participation.      
               
       

The ingredients? one cubscout...one guy... a kitchen....the ingredients for a cake (yes we allow cake and frosting mix in a box)...add a lot of elbow grease and PLEASE don't forget to clean the kitchen after your done!

Bake and decorate BEFORE friday evening!
Bring your final creation into the cubscout meeting on friday for a chance for awards and to auction off your cake to earn money for Pack 320's summer activities. Please see the details, rules and fyer below.

Just remember...the decorations AND the cake MUST be entirely edible.
FYI-The means:
1. NO PLASTIC OR OTHER TYPE OF INEDIBLE DECORATIONS
2. Someone other than your pet at home can eat it

Your cake will be disqualified from the awards if you don't follow the rules!

        In a previous event we had a blast!...The bidding was intense....our parents ended up poverty stricken and several pounds heavier! The Pack made a grand total of $800 for our Pack activities!!!!! Our highest single bid was for $50!! Thanks to ALL our scouts and their families for a wonderful time!

Movie Night with Pack 320
      
               
       
     
               
        Following the Cake Bake Auction we will have a great Movie Night...for those parents who would rather not have to take home all their home-made goodies you're welcome to cut your cake and share with your family of scouts!      
               
       
Admission is 1 soda (2-liter bottle) per family
      
               
       
THE MOVIE IS: SHREK!!!
      
               
        Bring a blanket or sleeping bag, pillow and beverage(s). We will be showing a great family rated movie onto a large screen and serving up freshly popped popcorn! Come join your friends for a fun evening!!!
