This is the Pack's major fundraiser...the sale of popcorn will pay for this year's pack events and activities. Scouts can earn prizes, work toward advancements and take part in a worthwhile fundraising event for our Pack. For more details go to 2004 POPCORN PAGE Scouts can sell to family, friends and neighbors. Each scout should also volunteer for at least one of the Show N' Sells! The scouts are volunteering for 2 hour slots of time. |

IMPORTANT
UPDATE |

Bag
Distribution will take place this Saturday at 8 am at the Messiah United
Methodist Church. Both Cub Scout Pack 320 and Boy Scout Troop 320 will
meet to divide up food bags for distribution into selected neighborhoods.
Our Pack and Troop have been designated the area/neighborhoods bordered
on the south by the Intracoastal Waterway and on the north by Military
Highway. Neighborhoods such as Fernwood Farms, Dominion Lakes, Riverwalk,
Eva Gardens, Crestwood etc are included in our designated area. Which
neighborhoods each scout will be going to will be discussed at the 8 am
meeting. |

Bag
pickup from neighborhoods will take place next saturday (time and place
for meeting will be posted asap) |

the Scout Council:
"In
September we will conduct a major food drive to help the hungry of our
area. The event culminates on Saturday, September 18, which is the day
we collect the food from houses, and we are able to feed thousands and
thousands of people. |

| Scouting for Food is scheduled for the first two weeks in Septeember. On September 11, 2004 "Scouting for Food" bags will be placed throughout the Tidewater area. On September 18, 2004 the bags will be retrieved by a combined force of Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Adult Leaders. Pick-up will start after 10 AM on Saturday September 18th. Please help us with a generous donation of can goods or dry goods. Let your neighbors, friends and family know this will be one of the largest food drives in the Tidewater Area. Have them watch WVEC-13 for more details...a number of our own cubscouts are part of that commercial (photos to be posted)! | |||||||||||||||||
